Maybe it happened in a classroom. Maybe it happened in a garage, a hospital, a kitchen, or a job site. Maybe someone believed in you before you believed in yourself. Or maybe you had no one in your corner and you chose to keep going anyway.

At CardinaleWay Mazda in Las Vegas, Nevada, we've spent years watching people move through this city — through life — and we know that the most powerful journeys aren't always the ones that look the most impressive from the outside. They're the ones driven by something real. By purpose. By passion. By the quiet, stubborn decision to keep moving forward no matter what the road looks like.

That's exactly why we created the CardinaleWay Mazda Drive Forward Scholarship.

What Is the CardinaleWay Mazda Drive Forward Scholarship?

Twice a year — every Spring and every Fall — CardinaleWay Mazda awards $500 to a Nevada student who is pursuing their education with heart and intention. This Las Vegas scholarship has no minimum GPA requirement and is open to students in any field of study. It is specifically designed to be accessible to students at UNLV, UNR, Nevada State University, CSN, and every accredited community college, trade school, and vocational program in the state of Nevada.

One winner. One semester. Five hundred dollars — paid directly to your school.

Why We Specifically Include Trade and Vocational Students

We want to say this clearly: trade and vocational students are not an afterthought in this scholarship. They are a priority.

Las Vegas is built on skilled labor. Every building that goes up, every system that runs, every vehicle that gets fixed — that is the work of someone who chose a trade and committed to mastering it. A student in an automotive technology program, an HVAC certification course, a nursing assistant program, or a welding class is working just as hard — sometimes harder — than anyone on a four-year campus. They deserve the same recognition. This scholarship was made with them specifically in mind.

How to Apply — Fall 2026 Deadline: July 1, 2026

If you are a Nevada resident enrolled in an accredited Nevada school or program, here is how to apply:

• Write an essay of 500–1,000 words responding to the prompt: What moves you — and where is it taking you? Include your school name and program in your essay.
• Gather your proof of enrollment — a student ID, acceptance letter, or class schedule
• Include a valid photo ID
• Email everything to CW-SOCIAL@cwmazda.com with the subject line: CardinaleWay Mazda Drive Forward Scholarship — [Your Name] — [School Name] — Fall 2026
